"I continue
to believe that if children are given the necessary tools to succeed, they will
succeed beyond their wildest dreams!" this came from the senator David
Vitter. So just like the main tool used in school, your pencil will be used but
first with the use of a device you can sharpen this pencil for the ability of
use to keep on working. This is like children, when first arriving at schools
most children know some of what they need to know but this is when they really
begin to “sharpen” their intelligence. The tool that is used to help these
children learn is the teachers, parents and administrators around them. But
just like every pencil is not the same every child is not either so you may
need more than one sharpener to achieve a useable point. For some children
these extra devices that are needed are hard to be found in schools.
In many schools
they have special education classes which isolate the children from the rest of
their peers to be taught in a different way but does this really help the child
develop good learning and personal skills as a student. Throughout their lives
they need to pursue and interact with others but with isolation this is a
problem within schools. So the question is how to we prepare all of the
children in school for life after high school?
